BYOB, Food & Alcohol
Can we bring our own alcohol?
Yes — this is a BYOB experience. You’re welcome to bring beer, wine, seltzers, and pre-mixed drinks.

Is there a limit on alcohol we can bring?
We recommend a reasonable amount for the duration of your trip. Glass containers are discouraged for safety. Beer, Wine and Seltzers, NO HARD LIQOUR

Do you provide cups or ice?
We recommend bringing a bag of Ice or two. We have a large cooler built into the center bar, we have solo cups on board; but you are welcome to bring your own as well.

Can we drink while on the boat?
Yes, passengers 21+ may drink responsibly while onboard.

Can we bring food?
Yes, although we suggest limiting it to snacks as physical and counter space is usually limited.
Trip Experience​
​
What should we expect on the tour?
A fun, social cruise with music, scenic views, and an open-air experience on the lake. You’ll be pedaling (cycle boat), pedaling is optional, or relaxing (tiki boat) depending on your tour.

How long are the tours?
We offer multiple trip lengths, typically our Cycleboats range from about 80 to 110 minutes depending on the cruise. While our Tiki boat Sip Happens offers half day and full day trips.

Do we pedal the whole time?
No — pedaling is completely Optional.
​
Do you allow swimming?
We allow swimming on Sip Happens
​
We DO NOT allow swimming on The Seneca Siren or Cayuga Kraken

Events & Special Occasions

Can we bring decorations for birthdays or bachelorette parties?
Yes — light decorations are welcome, but must be secure and not interfere with safety or visibility.

Do you host any special events?
Yes - themed cruises, sunset trips, singles events, and private celebrations are available seasonally.
Group & Seating

How many people can fit on the boat?
Cycle boats typically hold up to 16 guests. Our Tiki Boat holds 6 Passengers.

Can we book the whole boat privately?
Yes — private charters are available for groups, parties, and events.
​
Do we need to fill every seat?
No — you can book individually or with a group. You may be paired with others, unless you book privately.
Safety & Rules

Is the boat safe?
Yes — all vessels are operated by licensed captains and follow Coast Guard safety standards.

What happens in bad weather?
Trips may be delayed, rescheduled, or refunded depending on conditions for safety.
​
Is smoking allowed?
Policies vary by vessel, but generally smoking is restricted for safety and comfort.
Booking & Logistics

Where do we depart from?
Departure location depends on the specific boat and tour generally speaking, Watkins Glen and Ithaca NY — details are provided at booking.
What should we bring?
Sunscreen, sunglasses, valid ID (if drinking alcohol), and your drinks in a cooler if BYOB.
What happens if we are late?
Tours depart on time. Late arrivals may miss the trip without refund.
